ManYee's Work

Hi there,
I didn't create a new weekly folder in the server, so I uploaded it to dropbox.
please download it through the link.
no dropbox account is needed! :-)
Thanks!

ManYee_Polish_1st.

Hi Marleah,
here's my polished shot, one with sound and one without sound.
it's also on the sever, under weak 12 > group6 > animation > manyee.

mine and Elizabeth's looks better with sound...
so if you could keep it with sound it would be great!
but anyway, it's not a must-thing if you got technical problems.

I have class tonight, won't be able to update things till 10:30..

no sound.

with sound.

:-)

thank you !

Stuff for reel

Is this what you meant Elizabeth?

I made some changes to Alex and Nadia since the last time I turned them in, so these are the versions that should be in the reel if we put them in. Also, I remember you guys were asking about the rocks, so I put them here too. And I did a paint over of Chris' model as suggested by Bunny. I painted over this one:

ReelTest with sound

This is a test with sound from the "final Fantasy" audio that Danny posted last night...

As I tested it, it fades into the softer music again.... If we put all of the vis dev work first in the reel (as Marleah wanted) and then the story/animation/moment pieces (stuff I've been working on) after, then it would follow the flow of the soundtrack which starts soft and then transitions to this more punctuated, anticipatory music, then back into the soft music again at the end.

My Shot, Reel Test

Just throwing this up so that you guys can see it, and how it matches the other tests.  I'm not going to be changing it (except replacing my updated animation).

Yen,  I updated the images with the latest you gave me last night.

Reel Tests Danny's Shot

The above test shows the format:
Boards > still > render > animation
This format works better for Danny's scene because his chosen frame to be rendered comes at the beginning of his animation.

The above test shows the format:
Boards > animation > still > render
This format matches what I did with the tests for mine and ManYee's shots.  We both have renders from the last frame of animation (as opposed to the beginning of the scene, like Danny). So for overall continuity amongst the different tests, this would match the same format.

However, as Marleah pointed out last night, I don't necessarily think each test NEEDS to follow the exact same order.  We could showcase each one with whatever suits it best.  Soooo... let me know what you guys think.  Should I use the top test for Danny (the one with different format, but better suits his piece) or the bottom test (which doesn't really fit his chosen frame, but matches the other two tests).

Again, please let me know asap. Any input would be appreciated :)
